In order to use the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System), a Learning Agreement  has to be made. This has to be signed by all participating parties, i.e. by the student, the coordinators and the receiving institution. The Learning Agreement shows all the courses and lectures that a student wants to take and their allocated credits. You might need to chance your preselected courses once you have arrived at Westfälische Hochschule.

At the end of the stay the students receive a Transcript of Records in which all passed exams, in addition to the agreed lectures in the Learning Agreement, are noted.
